Over the course of 60 years two married entomologists travelled to more than 67 countries and quietly amassed the world’s largest private collection of insects, with more than one million specimens.

After collaborating with the 4th Athens International Children’s Film Festival last November, the American Film Showcase is back at Exile Room for a series of screenings of select US documentary shorts and features.
The screenings will take place at Exile Room (12 Athinas St, Monastiraki, 3rd floor) on May 19 and 26. Entrance is free of charge and all films will have Greek subtitles.
The American Film Showcase in Greece is organized in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Athens, a unique partnership with the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts (USC) and the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs.
