At 17 years old, Amaryllis and Margot have conquered together most of their teenage battles and tasted adolescent pleasures. After Margot’s first boyfriend drives them apart, they get together again for a night of dancing that rekindles their friendship. Amaryllis is the one who will cheer her up when Margot gets dumped. “Shirley Temple” is about them, but also a tribute to women’s friendship at all ages.
