This month, Exile Room is taking a step back in time, linking the past with the future of Italian Documentary. More than half a century divides 50s auteur Vittorio De Seta’s mini masterpieces and Victoria Fiore’s promising non-fiction debut, both shot in the South, but their temperament remains undeniably Italian and thoroughly cinematic. Not to be missed!
The screenings are part of the Docs in Exile 2023-24 Documentary Festival, which is implemented under the auspices and with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture.
